Privacy Policy

SDH Clean operates in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and this policy is governed by BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information you give us

When you submit our contact / quote-request form, we collect the name, phone number, email address, and message (plus the service and location you selected, if any) that you type into the form. This information is sent to our team by email to respond to your request and is stored in our lead-management system.

Campaign attribution information (automatic)

If you arrive at this site from an advertisement, search ad, or a link we've shared (for example a Google Ads click or a link-in-bio post), your browser stores a small record of that visit — the campaign parameters in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), any ad click identifier (gclid/fbclid), the page you landed on, and the external page you came from. This is stored in your browser's local storage only — never in a cookie, and never shared with any other site.

• Purpose: solely to measure which advertising campaign led to a quote request, so we can tell which ads are working. It is not used for any other purpose, and it is never combined with your name, email, or message unless you submit the contact form.
• Retention: automatically deleted from your browser after 30 days if you don't submit a form. It is never collected via cookies and never persists beyond your browser's local storage.
• If you submit a quote request during that 30-day window, this campaign information is attached to your inquiry record so we know which ad drove it. From that point on it's retained as part of your lead record, on the same schedule as the rest of your submission (see Data Retention below) — not for a further 30 days from the browser copy.

We also measure the same thing on the advertising side: when we are running Google Ads, the Google tag on this site reports anonymous events — a price estimate viewed, a quote-request form submitted, a tap on our phone or text link — so Google can tell us which ad produced an enquiry. Those events carry only the kind of service and whether an estimate was attached; they never carry your name, phone number, email, address or message. We do not upload customer lists and we do not build custom advertising audiences.

Third-party services we use

We use the following processors to run this site and handle quote requests. None of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

• Resend — delivers your quote-request submission to our team by email.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — a bot-detection check on our contact form (no tracking cookies).
• Google Analytics (GA4) — aggregate site-usage analytics.
• Google Ads — when we are advertising, measures which ad led to an enquiry (see above). No customer lists, no custom audiences.
• tscale — our marketing operations provider, which receives your quote-request submission and its campaign attribution (above) to record it as a lead and measure advertising performance on our behalf.

Data retention

Quote-request submissions (and any attached campaign attribution) are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and evaluate our advertising, after which they are deleted on our standard retention schedule.

Your rights

Under BC PIPA/PIPEDA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. To do so, contact us using the details below.
